Methyl esters

Methyl ester is intended to be used as a replacement for petroleum diesel or it can be blended with petroleum diesel fuel in any proportion — so-called "biodiesel" — and is generally regarded as being more environmentally friendly. We supply two types: Soy Methyl Esters and Palm Methyl Esters.

Applications

• Soy Methyl Esters. Derived from soybean oil as a clear liquid; a green alternative to harsher synthetic solvents, used in coatings, cosmetics, detergents, leather finishings, liquid soaps, personal care items, surfactants and biofuels.
• Palm Methyl Esters. Derived from palm oil, used as a biodiesel feedstock and as a renewable solvent across similar industrial formulations.
